You can book online at set-rent.com or directly with our team by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Set-Rent is a direct rental company: you always book with us, not through a broker, so the price you see is the price you pay and you talk to the people who will actually hand you the keys.

Yes. You can cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before the planned pick-up time. If you cancel later than 48 hours before pick-up, the amount paid is not refundable. If the car is not collected at the agreed time, the booking may be treated as a no-show and the amount paid is not refunded.

Yes, subject to availability and the conditions of your offer. To change the date, time, pick-up or drop-off location or the car group, contact our team and we will do our best to help. A change may affect the price.

Car photos are illustrative. Your booking is for a car group, not a specific model, unless the offer says otherwise. We will provide a car of the booked group or a higher one, depending on availability.

You will need: the main driver's physical driving licence, a physical ID card or passport, a payment card in the main driver's name and your booking confirmation. Documents must be shown physically and in original. Photos, scans, PDFs or documents shown only on a phone may not be accepted.

Yes, as long as the licence is valid, physical and held for at least 2 years. If your licence is not written in the Latin alphabet, an International Driving Permit is required together with the original licence.

The car may only be driven by the main driver and additional drivers registered in the rental agreement. You can add 1 to 3 additional drivers for 11 EUR per day per driver (max 150 EUR per rental). Each additional driver must show a physical driving licence and ID and meet the rental conditions. Driving by an unregistered person may void the protection and result in extra charges.

The minimum age is 18. Drivers aged 18 to 24 pay a young driver fee of 10 EUR per day (max 100 EUR per rental). Drivers over 75 are accepted only with prior written approval.

Yes, a security deposit is normally required at pick-up. The amount depends on the car class and the protection package you choose: the higher the protection, the lower your excess. The deposit is released after the car is returned in line with the rental agreement. The exact deposit for your booking is always shown before payment.

Online bookings are paid securely by card. At pick-up, the payment card should be in the main driver's name; for the deposit a card allowing a hold on funds may be required.

Every car includes the basic cover required by law. You can choose one of our protection packages to reduce your financial responsibility for damage or theft. The scope, exclusions and excess depend on the chosen package. Protection does not apply in excluded situations such as breach of the agreement, gross negligence, driving under the influence, unauthorised cross-border travel or use of the car against the contract.

Full to full: you collect the car with a full tank and return it with a full tank. If the car comes back with missing fuel, we charge the missing fuel at its actual value plus a refuelling service fee of 35 EUR. If you prefer not to worry about refuelling before drop-off, ask us about the prepaid fuel option.

Yes, but only with prior written approval and the cross-border option (25 EUR per day, max 199 EUR per rental). Allowed countries: Portugal, France, Andorra and Gibraltar. Unauthorised border crossing results in a 950 EUR fee plus any related costs and loss of protection.

There is a 59-minute grace period. After that, a late return fee of 50 EUR may apply plus the charges for an extra rental day. If you know you will be late, contact us as soon as possible - extending the rental requires our confirmation.

Contact Set-Rent immediately. Secure the scene and do not continue driving if the car is not safe. In case of a collision, theft, vandalism or damage involving third parties, a police report may be required. Roadside assistance is included in the Premium package and available as an option with the other packages (12 EUR per day); a callout without roadside assistance costs 390 EUR plus towing and third-party costs.

Extra fees apply only when a specific situation occurs: late return, missing fuel, excessive dirt, smoking in the car, lost keys or documents, traffic fines handling, unauthorised cross-border travel and similar cases.
